Glassdoor Promotes Workplace Transparency with OpenCompany Launch
How does it work?
- Employers register for a Free Employer Account.
- Companies must complete five steps to achieve OpenCompany status, including ensuring they have up-to-date profiles, responding to reviews, getting employees to share reviews, to name a few.
- After completion, businesses are eligible to receive the OpenCompany recognition. Users will know a business is committed to workplace transparency by the OpenCompany badge displayed on its profile.
According to Glassdoor, several companies have already received this distinction, including Autodesk, Adknowledge, AllState, BMC Software, Cigna, Deloitte and Informatica.
Any employer is free to participate in the new program while meeting Glassdoor’s community guidelines.
To learn more, Glassdoor will host an OpenCompany Webinar on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Sign up to attend here.
