accelerator package for talentlink Talent management solutions provider Lumesse has announced Accelerator, a new package available on its TalentLink platform for onboarding, learning, and social strategies. Accelerator is designed to streamline onboarding and fast-track employee engagement strategies. The packages helps ensure engagement for new hires to avoid immediate turnover, increases a new hire’s time to productivity, quickly closes knowledge gaps, and opens a channel for engagement for onboardees.

The Accelerator packages addresses onboarding from three fronts:

• A straightforward and engaging employee portal that enables recruits to socialize with new hires. New hires can create personal social profiles on the portal and search the company directory for immediate engagement with peers and company culture.

• New personnel are able to access, fill in, and upload necessary paperwork online to ensure compliance and save on administrative costs.

• New hires can receive training via documents, videos, SCORE-compliance courses, and specifically-tailored background material based on employee profiles.

HR maintains full control over the content and functionality of onboarding pages and can provide rich media, hand-select onboarding teams, set roles, utilized a workflow engine for automated routing and handling of pre-employment tasks. The portal is also optimized for mobile devices.

Neal Bruce, director of product strategy at Lumesse, said, “Today’s skilled candidates have high expectations; and to engage the top talent, organizations need to showcase their values, culture and knowledge as early in the recruitment process as possible. Following this initial engagement with new hires, it is important to maintain a strong relationship over the period of time between acceptance of offer, through notice period and well into the first months of employment. The new Accelerator package enables organizations to do this on a platform that is intuitive, familiar and easily accessible, enabling employees to spend more time getting settled in their new job and less time learning new systems.”
