SilkRoad Research Finds Most HR Pros Think Lack of Automation Hinders Success
SilkRoad, a leading global provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, released a new TalentTalk Report and infographic depicting a lack of automation of talent management functions still hinders business success for 72 percent of respondents. Based survey responses from nearly 1,000 HR professionals, SilkRoad’s 2015 State of Talent Management Report, Powering Up Talent Management for Business Performance: A Close Look at Progress and Trends, suggests talent management technology, employee engagement and retention, and HR strategy to help HR professionals charge up their organizations for the year ahead.

Highlights from the report include:
- Only 28 percent of respondents are fully automated for HR functions including, 8 percent still deal in paper and manual processes.
- Engagement and retention remains a major concern for HR professionals and will continue to be a top area of interest in 2015.
- Integrating HR systems and data is at the top of the to-do list for many companies.
- Year-over-year survey results show increases in professionals’ concerns about being more strategic and having a “place at the table” in business decision-making about their organizations.
- An intuitive user interface is a “deal maker” in talent management software.
