TriNet Reports Three-quarters of Small Business Owners More Confident in Their Success

• Half of small business owners plan to hire more employees this year. Over one-third of respondents rank hiring qualified staff as a top three issue in matters of importance.
• Financial issues are the top issue for small business owners. Such issues include finding new business, managing expenses, and cash flow. Respectively, the issues ranked as a top three concern for 51 percent, 49 percent, and 48 percent of respondents. Other top-three concerns reported in the survey included taxes (24 percent) and managing debt (13 percent).
• Also important to business owners is the ability to maintain a work-life balance with 32 percent of respondents reporting it as a top three issue of importance.
