Appirio will become the preferred service provider of Cornerstone’s existing talent management solutions to offer clients a comprehensive talent and learning management solution. As part of Appirio’s HCM portfolio, the new capabilities will allow it to help companies move process, such as recruiting, onboarding, core HR, performance and learning management, and others, into the cloud.

“Cloud, mobile and social technologies have changed everything, especially the way employees find jobs, engage in the workplace and grow in their careers,” Chris Barbin, CEO of Appirio, said. “Few get this as well as Cornerstone, which has created and continues to evolve its solutions with these shifts in mind. Cornerstone is a perfect complement to our existing HCM capabilities and will be a great addition to partnerships we currently have in place with leading cloud companies.”

Cornerstone also has access to Appirio’s Cloud Enablement Suite and CloudSpokes development community giving it an extended market for its solutions and services. Appirio will also provide Cornerstone with consulting, process design, project management, content creation, and other services.

“Appirio’s experience in helping more than 500 enterprises apply cloud technology in innovative ways, through their work with companies like salesforce.com, Workday and Google, makes teaming with them great for both Cornerstone and our clients,” Adam Miller, founder and CEO of Cornerstone OnDemand, said. “Talent management has become an increasingly essential component of empowering the new workforce. By managing people strategies in the cloud, organizations are better positioned to effectively meet the ever-changing needs of the global workforce.”
