U Interview Me App for iPhone Allows Employers to use Video Interviews on their Phones

Custom Innovations LLC has announced the launch of U Interview Me, an app for the iPhone that enables employers to interview candidates over video. Employers can invite candidates to interview but also offers candidates the ability to request an interview. Typical job-posting services put all the difficult tasks on the employer and charge them for it. Custom Innovations charges a $1 service fee to candidates for using the service to create a small barrier, which helps ensure candidates are qualified before requesting an interviewer’s time. Employers may also choose to pay the fee for the candidates, which would be refunded to the candidates.

With U Interview Me, businesses can have face-to-face video interviews with candidates and screen people more effectively by being able to read body language. There are two main types of users for the app 1) the job seekers and 2) those offering career related services such as official interviews, practice interviews, or advice. Industry professionals who desire to help job seekers practice interviewing, so they can become more prepared for tricky questions and salary negotiations, may set their own rate from $1 to $30, while U Interview Me receives a 10 percent commission on these services.  Recruiters are encouraged to use U Interview Me to find talent for their employers, such as by offering to give practice interviews in the app.
