release of wmx v 6.0 Agilysys, Inc., a leading provider of information technology and hospitality software and services, has announced the general availability of WMx v6.0, the latest version of the Agilysys Workforce Management Solution. The new version includes enhanced features and functionality that streamline operations and help ensure compliance with federal regulations. 

WMx is a comprehensive enterprise solution designed to help hospitality organizations improve workforce efficiency and productivity. It includes tools for performance-based scheduling, dynamic labor forecasting, embedded workflow for employee hiring, employee self-service and multiple time-capture solutions. It integrates with numerous point-of-sale, property management, inventory and procurement, and payroll systems.

WMx v6.0 includes a number of enhancements, such as a new human resources function that enables users to customize fields and employee record configuration. It also includes functionality that helps employers comply with Affordable Care Act (ACA) guidelines through planning, monitoring and reporting on employee work hours and real-time ACA status. The solution offers the option to visually display employees’ ACA target status, period-to-date average hours for the current measurement period, and average allowable maximum or minimum hours that can be scheduled during the remainder of the current measurement period in order for employees to retain part-time or full-time status.

In addition, the WMx v6.0 mobile solution features an app that enables managers to view posted schedules and approve employee requests. The ‘MyWMx Manager’ app, for Android and iOS platforms, allows managers to view posted schedules for any day as well as review and approve employee requests for shift swaps, pick-ups and time-off.
