magazineKnown for its specialized Executive Sensitivity and Diversity Training, DB Pargman Consulting LLC has recently released a publication that will help HR professionals learn what to do in case a holiday social event prompts a future sexual harassment complaint.

The video publication, “5 Tips to Get Your Company Over the Post-Holiday Hangover and Get Your People Back to Work”, offers 5 practical steps that human resources, employment law professionals, and management can take if a sexual harassment complaint arises.

Deena Pargman, Ph.D., founder and CEO of DB Parman, comments, “With a camera in everyone’s pocket linked to social media sites, an embarrassing moment from the company holiday party is preserved forever, it is making its way around your office, and there is someone in your organization who does not think it is funny.”

More sexual harassment and diversity related complaints arise in January, as employees are more apt to experience post-holiday depression and become disgruntled. Taking embarrassing or sensitive pictures at a holiday party is very easy with mobile phones and posting them on social media sites can be very tempting. This can result in a sexual harassment complaint and involvement of the Human Resources department.

The 7 minute practical video by Pargman will help companies prepare for such complaints as well as to know what to do in the case of an actual complaint. For more information, please visit: http://www.dbptraining.com.
