ZipRecruiter Job PostingZipRecruiter, a SaaS- based job posting and resume database tool for recruiters and employers, recently launched a new social recruiting service to add to its job distribution.

In addition to posting jobs to over 20 large job boards, the ZipRecruiter web service now also posts jobs to the three most popular social networks: LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. The new feature integrates seamlessly with their existing workflow and the “social recruiting” job postings can be made with one click.

Ian Siegel, CEO of ZipRecruiter, stated that “We created ZipRecruiter to help hiring managers distribute their job listings  to the maximum number of potential candidates in the the minimum amount of time. With 75 percent of organizations now recruiting talent through social media giants like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, our one-click social recruiting feature was an obvious next step.”

An additional feature is auto re-posting to the social networks. Recruiters can choose to distribute their jobs automatically at certain frequencies in order to capture their full social following. ZipRecruiter created the re-posting feature to counteract the “disappearing” effect of social networks. Ian stated about this “By re-posting job announcements to social networks every few days, hiring companies not only become more active in their online communities, but they also amplify their reach.”
