It can be tremendously hard to get started in any industry, let alone one that is as competitive as recruiting. Needless to say, first-time recruiters have their work cut out for them, especially when you consider the amount of veteran talent out there.

In this episode of The Recruiting Reel, we share tips to help new recruiters get their careers off on the right foot. We invited recruiting expert Greg Savage to share his unique knowledge on the subject.

Greg Savage is known as the founder of a number of highly successful recruitment companies, including Firebrand Talent Search,  People2People, and Recruitment Solutions. He has spent 35 years in the recruiting field on a global scale. In those 35 years, Greg has owned, managed, and helped grow staffing businesses. Greg has also achieved the honor of being voted the “Most Influential Recruiter” in Australia in the past 60 years.

Watch this episode to find out what Greg thinks it takes to become a successful recruiter, with a focus on lots of appropriate activity – from interviews to social media to brand building – and the quality of that activity.
