Human PotentialThe Economist, a trusted name in international politics, economic analysis, and business news, is once again hosting the Human Potential summit as part of their ongoing “The Ideas Economy” live series of events. The second-annual Human Potential event will focus on talent development, global recruitment and job trends and the evolving landscape of hyper-competition and what it means for tomorrow’s business leaders.

A number of high profile guest speakers will be attending the event. Recent additions to the presentation roster include Judy McGrath, former chief executive officer of MTV Networks, Jared Cohen, director of Google Ideas and Marc Cenedella, founder and chief executive officer of TheLadders.

Each speaker is widely recognized in their field. Judy McGrath was a pioneer in reshaping the television industry, Jared Cohen is an architect of foreign policies approaches, and Marc Cenedella is a highly regarded thought leader on job search, career management, recruiting and business.

Primarilly known as the founder and CEO of TheLadders – the leading online job market catering to $100K+ candidates, Cenedella will be interviewed by Matthew Bishop, US Business Editor for The Economist on day two of the Human Potential event, September 15th. Cenedella’s interview block is titled, “Flash Interview: The search for love and money.” Their topic looks at the challenges of contemporary work-life balance. Human Potential 2011 will take place September 14th -15th at The Times Center in New York City.
