Recruiter Index®: August 2021

Sneak peek

August's Recruiter Index® results look very similar to July's — but that's not necessarily a bad thing. At 3.9, overall recruiter sentiment remains at its highest point on record. Workloads also remain stable at 20 open roles per recruiter — another high point.
For the first time since April, candidate sentiment didn't decline. Instead, it remained stable at 3.1. Recruiters also reported that salaries are remaining stable, as is the percentage of remote roles. The race to attract candidates seems to be slowing down, which could potentially be an early indication that talent shortages may begin to dwindle in the not-so-distant future.
