I own a small boutique staffing and recruiting agency. I was part of the inaugural Recruiter.com Certification Program that started in 2018. I began my career in recruitment informally, helping a large dialysis company locate staff for a denovo clinic in Lahaina, HI. I went on to help in other recruiting and onboarding areas and naturally began my own agency recruiting on medical/healthcare related roles. I have since had the opportunity to recruit on a variety of positions. I feel that recruiting is important if you can dedicate the time to find the right candidates for the role. Recruiting is not headhunting. The focus is not to spend time finding people jobs based on their profile, but rather comprehending the requirements and nuances of the job and finding the best matches through sourcing and networking efforts.
