Soon after, I relocated to New York City to work in financial engineering for the Corporate Services and Real Estate department at Goldman Sachs. Afterwards, I was offered the opportunity to form and head up a Global Pricing Infrastructure and Data Science team at American Express in Phoenix, which I accomplished in five years. From an educational standpoint, I have an MBA from Cornell University, an MS in Information Security and Risk Management from Norwich University, and a BComm in Computer Network Engineering from Ryerson University. I have completed data science certifications on recommender systems from Cloudera and other educational providers. I am in the process of publishing a book on the information security implications of centralized and decentralized data management systems, it can be used to ensure program compliance to the recently published Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CWF) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This interagency-approved framework includes a data management function geared towards the development and administration of databases and/or data management systems that allow for the storage, query, and utilization of data.
