This is a supervisory position. These officers lead special teams of elite military on often unconventional missions. These can include air, land or sea missions during both peace and wartimes. Since this is a supervisory position much experience and training is required before official work can begin. To become a special forces officer, one must join the armed forces. A high school diploma or GED is also required.
